Clan Old Fart was formed in July of 1998 because. . . well. . . we are "old farts" that love to play online games, with players of similar lifestyles and in our age group. We started as a clan playing the Quake mod LMCTF (Loki's Minions Capture The Flag) and we moved to Unreal Tournament, Quake 3:Arena, UT2003, UT2004, SOF2, and now CS:S.  We are not currently involved in any competitive league.  At the end of 2003 the Old Farts Clan merged with clan Old Fart - hey we were already one big family anyway.  Our current average age is about 38.  Some people say we stink - but only {OF}Fartman has gas. 

We all are full-fledged members of RealLife^®, consequently we have families, jobs, and other outside interests.  Because of these RealWorld™ interests we do not play all day everyday like many 15 year old wonders.  Don't take this to mean we don't have good players nor that we won't kick some butt.  We like to play and we like to win.  But it is only a fun game and our egos are already hammered anyway. 

From time to time, our clan membership is open to experienced players over the age of 25.  (You need to be known to us as a player and have some time on our server before applying - see our Members page for more info.)   Check the Members page for membership rules and membership standards.  Use the email address membership@oldfart.com to apply for membership if you meet these minimum standards.
